what We're doing

Community Engagement

Citizens of Bethlehem identify a new possibility and envisioned a way to create this possibility. They identify local funding, physical, and human assets for their vision. Then reach out for remaining resources to make the possibility a reality.

Empowering Communities

Community Engagement focuses on empowering communities by building on their existing strengths.

What We've Done

From the Financial Report YTD 2024:

  • The Bethlehem Ministry helped fill a resource gap by investing $6550 in the projects developed by citizens of Bethlehem.
  • The people of Bethlehem provided 84% of the resources for the tuition free Summer Camp serving 100 children for six weeks. The resource gap funded by the Bethlehem Ministry was just 16% of the total expenses.
  • Citizens of Israel donate food collected in Nazareth. The Bethlehem Ministry provides $800 /month to transport the food to Bethlehem feeding 200 children: or a cost of $4 to feed a child for a month.
